Membership in the New York State Bluebird Society costs just $10.00/year,$25.00 for a 3-year membership or $150.00 for a Lifetime membership. Please make the check or money order out to "New York State BlueBird Society"

The NYSBS is now offering membership purchases online via PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account and we accept most major credit cards. The transaction is secure and safe.

Memberships generally run from April to April, but are accepted anytime during the year. Membership benefits include:

• receiving the BlueBird News, the quarterly newsletter of the NYSBS.
• invitations to the twice-yearly society meetings
• fellowship with other Bluebird Societies/Organizations

The Bluebird News contains information including:

• Date, location and agenda of next Society meeting
• Summary information from the last meeting
• Information on better birding
• results from funded projects and nesting reports
• Bluebird items for sale (nestboxes, t-shirts, sweatshirts)

Correspondance concerning the newsletter should be directed to the Editor.

The twice-yearly society meetings are held in the Spring (May) andin the Fall (October). The spring meeting is generally held at a bird conservation center where members can do some birdwatching. Both meetings usually include a guest speaker to address some aspect of bird conservation. Typical organizational information is also covered.
