Did you know the Eastern Bluebird is one of the first birds to return North in the Spring?
What better way to welcome them and the Spring season than with your very own bluebird house?
Join the Town of Boston’s Conservation Advisory Council and the NYS Bluebird Society for a Bluebird House Workshop on Saturday, April 18th, from 10:00 AM -12:00 pm at the Boston Town Hall Community Room. The Boston Conservation Advisory Council will provide materials and instructions for building your own bluebird house. We will be joined by the New York State Bluebird Society for presentations on Bluebird conservation and nestbox maintenance.
The NYSBS (New York State Bluebird Society) is dedicated to conserving the Eastern Bluebird and other native cavity-nesting birds for future generations to enjoy. Their volunteers monitor various Bluebird trails throughout the state and educate and assist others in becoming good stewards. Join Bluebird Ambassador Angela T. Baron inside the Community Room to learn more about how you can help our state bird.
